Mr. Mulvihill joined PSRS in 1990 and currently holds the title of Principal. Mr. Mulvihill attended San Diego State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Prior to joining PSRS in 1990, Mr. Mulvihill applied his engineering degree and worked on commercial development projects as a construction manager. While working in this role, he oversaw the construction of over 1 million SF of commercial projects include office, medical office, industrial and structured parking projects in both San Diego and Orange County, California. Upon joining PSRS Mr. Mulvihill managed a portfolio of institutionally owned commercial property and worked on the recovery and recapitalization of distressed commercial real estate assets for his life insurance company clients through the 1990’s. As these institutional investors began to exit the real estate equity market, and dispose of REO assets, Mr. Mulvihill moved over to mortgage banking and began originating commercial loans full time in 1998. Since that time, Mr. Mulvihill has completed hundreds of transactions including construction loans, acquisition loans, refinances and bridge loans in California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Texas, Colorado, Indiana, and Michigan. Today he applies that wealth of construction, management and recapitalization knowledge to craft real estate financing solutions for his clients.  Mr. Mulvihill’s son, Kevin, is a third generation member of the PSRS team. Mr. Mulvihill has been an active supporter of the Challenged Athletes Foundation for almost twenty years, is an avid cyclist, and is frequently involved with a variety of industry groups and events.
