David Semmer

David Semmer joined PSRS in 2023 and currently holds the title of Principal. Dave previously worked at Walker & Dunlop as Senior Director of Capital Markets which he joined in 2016. Prior to joining WD, Dave was a Principal of the George Elkins Company where he started his career 32 years ago. Since graduating from Loyola Marymount University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate Finance and a Minor in Economics, Dave has originated nearly $3 billion of permanent, construction, and bridge financing for commercial and multi-family properties nationwide. Over the course of his career, he has earned multiple designations as Top Producer for his firm, George Elkins Company, as well as for several other of his correspondent Life Insurance lenders. He has held memberships in the MBA, CMBA, NAIOP, and ULI over the course of his career and has volunteered for the City of Hope where he helped raise nearly $1M for Cancer Research by organizing charity golf tournaments on their behalf. Dave enjoys golf, hiking, and traveling with his wife Lisa, and their two children.
