Commercial Real Estate Analyst - Los Angeles

We are looking for an ambitious, outgoing, sales-oriented individual to join the loan production team. The candidate should possess both strong analytical and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to get out and network with industry participants with the long-term goal of securing commercial real estate financing opportunities. The position will be salaried during the period that the candidate is training, assisting senior producers, and building up his/her own book of business.

The candidate will be encouraged to transition to a 100% commission loan producer as they complete their training and mature in the business.

Long term participation in ownership of the company is available to selected producers. Other successful producers have secured an equity interest in the company, as they have worked to promote the company and build up the business where they are a key player in its success.


  • Evaluate loan request by analyzing income and expense statements, determine proforma income analysis and create valuation of property
  • Must understand real estate documents and review for accuracy all supporting documentation (leases, loan documents, third-party reports)
  • Assist Loan Officer to underwrite, package, market and ultimately work with the lender through the loan approval phase
  • Analyze commercial mortgage request to determine real estate value, risk, and feasibility
  • Participate in weekly meetings within the Production Teams to review information received form the borrower, discuss deal flow, deadlines, and formulate loan marketing strategy
  • Perform other reasonably related business duties assigned by a supervisor


  •  Junior college or 3+ years of equivalent real estate experience
  • Detail orientated with strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to communicate in a professional and courteous manner in person, over the phone and via written correspondence
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks under deadlines
